As the sun peeps over the horizon, has the skin goddess answered my prayer? While designing this logo I tried to embody the above quote as much as possible. The half circle shape symbolises the rising sun and the decorative, boho, mandala style links to the mythical skin goddess. Gold is illuminating, sacred, durable; it is precious. It is almost universally associated with the sun, or the highest stage in spiritual development.
Once the logo was finalised Joanna and myself moved on to the LYS (Love Your Skin Journal). This Journal is aimed at women with acne, who will use this journal to log their daily skin routine. It also has a colouring book page intertwined with a motivation quote that can be coloured in anywhere, on the train, at the doctors or relaxing at home.
